Our organization, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is proud to support our communities with comprehensive rehabilitation and children programs. Citizens for Social Change & Rehabilitation Inc. leads the charge in providing solutions to the problems plaguing our communities.
Current laws make it difficult for rehabilitated citizens to find jobs. Our community organization mentors these ex-offenders who are coming out of incarceration.
We guide them on changes in social status, laws, and to the neighborhood they lived in before they were imprisoned.Former offenders are given assistance in finding jobs based on their qualification and skills. This helps our community thrive by adding another skilled worker to contribute to our society. We connect them with professional psychiatrists or psychologists to help them return to their former social status.
Children are given the tools they need to progress and succeed in school. We work with children in kindergarten through elementary school from English to mathematics. Audio books donated by the Free Library of Philadelphia are used in mentoring kids in their subjects so they don’t fall behind.
