Citizens for Social Change & Rehabilitation Inc., based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is committed to broadening horizons with our community outreach programs. Our community organization was established in 2002, and received its non-profit (501C3) status on December 15, 2004.
Communities learn to help themselves with our support. We are committed to helping people get the resources they need, and discover programs out there that they are eligible for but don’t know how to get started.
Our organization interviews and matches people to the programs that are most effective for their specific needs. We also assist unemployed people find jobs through reputable employers and unions. Citizens who have been down-and-out are given much-needed encouragement to advance and find their worth again.
We work with state representatives and city councils to help us accomplish this. If you have time to give to the community our organization with supply you with a certificate and a letter of reference for volunteer for non paid intern positions. Most employeers consider this a plus when applying for jobs.
Citizens for Social Change & Rehabilitation Inc. also provides services for the seniors in our communities. The Free Library of Philadelphia™ has donated audio books to our organization to be given to seniors for their enjoyment.
